IONIA. Ephesos. Circa 390-380 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 23 mm, 15.41 g, 12 h), Menekrates, magistrate. E-Φ Bee with straight wings. Rev. ΜΕΝΕΚΡΑ/ΤΗΣ Forepart of a stag to right, head turned back to left; behind to left, palm tree with two date clusters. Pixodarus Class A, p. 187, cf. pl. 23, O4. SNG Copenhagen 231 (same dies). SNG von Aulock -. A perfectly centered and lightly toned example. Scattered marks, otherwise, good very fine.
